First entry

I had my camera with me on Friday with the intention of taking some snow pictures. However, once again it was a pretty wimpy snow storm. Instead, I decided to take some pictures of the Hennepin bridge at night. But, without a tripod handy, it was difficult to hold the camera steady enough. I wasn't happy with them at all. The best shot I took was the above photo. It is a night shot of downtown Minneapolis taken from Nicollet Island. I have taken better pictures, but under the circumstances, it was the best I could do.

I am not sure exactly what I want to do with this blog. For now it will be random thoughts on whatever is holding my interest at the time. I may include links to other sites of articles that have caught my attention. I will try to keep it interesting. It will be whatever.....
